PHYSICAL INTERPRETER DISPATCH

Check your
appointment location.

The appointment’s ZIP code determines whether it falls within our listed physical dispatch area. Coverage does not guarantee an available interpreter or a confirmed booking.

In-person service is subject to scheduling and assignment confirmation.

BEYOND AN ON-SITE VISIT

Same human focus.
A remote connection.

For telehealth interpreting, contact our team with your preferred appointment time and session format. The physical dispatch ZIP list does not define remote availability.

If your ZIP is outside the listed area, ask about remote support. We review scheduling, platform requirements and the assignment before confirming arrangements.

Use the appointment location when checking coverage

Physical dispatch coverage is based on the location where an interpreter would attend, rather than the home or billing address of the person arranging the visit. If your organization has several offices, use the ZIP code for the particular appointment. The checker compares the five-digit value with our published list; it does not estimate distance, calculate travel time or expand coverage beyond those listed codes.

After checking the ZIP, contact our team with the date, expected visit length and professional setting. A location within the area is eligible for a dispatch discussion, subject to scheduling and assignment review. It does not establish that an interpreter is available for every date or that special access requirements have been met.

Arrange physical personnel for the appropriate setting

Our audiences include clinics, hospitals, imaging centers, law firms and deposition or court reporting companies. Tell the team which location and type of appointment you are arranging. Building entry, facility onboarding or proceeding-specific qualification requirements should be identified early. Share the requirement itself without attaching confidential patient or case material to the first message.

You can explore medical interpreting for a clinical appointment or legal interpreting for a professional legal conversation. If a visit connects healthcare with a legal matter, describe the actual appointment setting. That context helps distinguish the interpreting assignment from the wider matter it relates to.

Consider remote support as a separate request

An appointment outside the physical dispatch list may still be a reason to ask about telehealth or remote language support. Remote service is reviewed for scheduling, platform suitability and the assignment’s requirements. It is not an automatic substitute that can be confirmed by entering a ZIP code. The organizer should explain how participants are expected to connect.

Read our telehealth interpreting information and then contact the team with logistical details. If an existing appointment changes from on-site to remote, or moves to a different address, let the team review the revised scope. Confirmation should reflect the actual format and location everyone intends to use.

Coordinate a request involving more than one location

When an organization operates several offices, coverage should be checked for each appointment location. A firm’s main office might be different from the clinic or reporting location where language support is requested. List each location’s ZIP code separately, along with the proposed date and approximate duration. That prevents a result for one office from being treated as coverage for every related visit.

If a confirmed appointment moves, contact the team with the new logistics rather than relying on the earlier check. The revised location may affect the assignment even when it is also in the published area. Access instructions and facility requirements belong to the actual site of attendance, and those details should be reviewed before personnel are expected to arrive.

What the checker does—and what needs a conversation

The checker answers a narrow question: whether the entered five-digit ZIP appears in the published physical dispatch list. It does not determine the right interpreting service, verify professional credentials or supply a price. It also does not know the appointment date or the practical conditions at a clinic, office or proceeding location.

Those other questions need direct coordination. Describe the professional setting and the schedule to the team, and mention any requirements that must be satisfied before attendance. An organization should not treat a positive coverage message as proof of facility onboarding or acceptance of a formal legal assignment. The website separates geographic information from appointment confirmation so each can be checked on its own facts.

If you already know the appointment will be remote, use the telehealth service information instead of trying unrelated ZIP codes. Remote suitability depends on the planned conversation and participation format. A physical coverage result cannot determine whether an online session’s access and assignment conditions have been agreed.

You can also read the complete ZIP list without using the checker. That visible list provides the same coverage information when scripts are unavailable or an interactive field is inconvenient. If a postal code was entered incorrectly, check the actual appointment address with the organizer before asking the team to review physical dispatch. A mistyped code should not determine your scheduling assumptions.
